Camera Critters

You can play this fun meme at Camera Critters!

----------------

Last week's postings here mostly centered around the vacation of a lifetime we'd just returned from. Although we will always remember the beautiful scenery and wonderful historical places from two weeks ago, the all-time best SINGLE thing I have ever seen were these horses.

Last year we visited the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. We had already seen buffalo, prairie dogs and such when we rounded a curve in the road. There before us were WILD horses. These horses had never been shod, ridden or corralled. Simply amazing!

Maybe I should have done one picture now & posted others in future weeks since I'm running out of photos. I may have to start stalking my dog Sasha more with the camera. Or maybe we'll just have to go on another vacation!!! Yeah.. that's the ticket! I wonder how hard I'd have to twist hubby's arm? (Laugh.)

Note: I've kind of gotten away from blogging so I hope you'll forgive me if I don't make it to your Critters post. (I WILL try though.) Misty is a dear, sweet friend of mine and I LOVE this meme, so I came back to the Blogosphere to play today.

You are so sweet. I'm so glad you came back to play CC, although I would completely understand if you didn't (you know that, right?).

These horses are gorgeous! What an awesome post. My step-daughter would LOVE this.

Wild horses! How beautiful they are! How free and independent! It would be a great pleasure to photograph them while they were running!

You are so VERY lucky. Wild horses! Wow! I'm so envious. I really need to get out more, obviously, and visit the places where the wild horses run. Thanks for posting this.

Ooooohhhhh! I love horsies! I'm hoping that next week, on vacation, I'll be able to go riding. Keep your fingers crossed that we'll be able to find one that'll hold me! :)
