We decided not to wait until the last minute this year and have started shopping.
We've finished with one grandson, got half for one granddaughter, know what to get another granddaughter (just have to get out to the store). That leaves one more grandson and one more granddaughter.
We've finished one daughter-in-law. I know what we're getting one son (just have to get to the store.) That leaves one son, one daughter, and one daughter-in-law.
The family voted and set a reasonable cap on spending this year for the adults. No cap for the kids. The cap is not a required amount which is also nice. We had tossed around the idea of drawing names, or just buying for the kids but
Do draw names or shop for everyone?

I can't believe Christmas is so close. EEK! We (7 kids) pick names for each other on Thanksgiving. I found a journal type book that one sister wants, so hoping I get her name ;) I do try and buy something small for everyone as well, but I'm not sure the $$$ will allow for that this year!
I have 4 brothers and three sisters and they all have kids but one. We decided a long time ago to just buy for the kids.
We tend to buy for everyone.
Since I'm not a holiday kind of a person, I don't really do gifts. The last time I did, I went all out & got not even a phone call or thank you card. Nope. The only person that gets gifts from me is Poor Hubby & he gets them all year long.
I honestly have no idea who I'll be buying for this year - guess I better get that figured out.
