Just yesterday morning I wrote how I felt like a switch had been flipped. How I was going to put one foot in front of the other.
I did do that.. and more. I went out walking many times with my puppy. In between I did laundry and steam cleaned almost all my carpets. I finished cooking the dinner I'd had to abandon the night before.
My downtime was short.

Good job, Barb. Just keep putting that one foot in front of the other. It may drag a bit on some days, you'll maybe need to do a little forcing of yourself now and again, but just keep plodding along, plugging away. I've found since I started to mess with the embroidery, it keeps my mind occupied and it seems to have less impetus to wander out without its leash, ya know. When I let my mind roam free is when I tend to start heading downhill again. Or maybe I'M just on a really, really long-running manic episode too. Who knows!
Glad the day turned out better than expected! Way to go with the positive attitude.
