It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown was on tv last night. It's official. The holiday season is upon us. Should I go out and buy a box of christmas cards now? Some may say I should have bought them after LAST Christmas.There's a city near us called Frankenmuth (sp) that is a Christmas city year round. HUGE tourist trap filled with shops and restaurants. Mr. Skittles loves it there. Me? Not so much. I can't ever seem to catch the holiday spirit until the holiday is oh... close. Like within a month.
Sure I look through the ads and catalogs and wonder if so and so would like this or that as a gift. I'm a woman. But I don't shop this early. Never.
What about you? How soon do you start your Christmas shopping?

I start christmas gift shopping whenever I SEE something that SCREAMS for the person I'm buying... sometimes that's in the summer. But I won't get 'accessories'... such as tree, ornaments, cards, decorations, etc. until the day after thanksgiving. I hate that the stores have christmas stuff up and out before Halloween.
LOL, every year I tell myself that I'll start before Thanksgiving and the rush officially starts...but I've yet to actually stick to that.
Oh well, it's still relitively early....
Awwww I missed Charlie Brown last night :(. I dont want to even think about Christmas this year.
