We have one set of stairs but if we tied her at that door she'd be close enough to run on the sidewalk and in the road. That's why we needed a set for the other door.
When we were moving we passed a place that sold used stairs and today we went there to see what they had. (Yes, I went outside again.) We found some that are perfect for us and at a good price. Plus we read on a sign that they deliver. Yippeee! Mr. Skittles is going to go tomorrow and buy them.
Of course this doesn't solve ALL the problems we have with her (pulling on the leash, jumping on people) but it makes it so I don't have to take her out if I can't go out. That means we can keep her. It means I can just open the door, hook her to the chain and out she goes to do her business. Mr. Skittles said he'll continue working on the trouble spots with her.
Special Note: I will not be skateboarding down the stairs. =)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOfreakinHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
this makes me SO, SO, SO happy!
I still think if you guys could eventually build her a fenced in run (like we talked about on the phone, I think that would be awesome for everyone involved - especially my beautiful Hannah girl!
yey! Glad you get to keep the puppy!!!
Congratulations! I'm so glad you're keeping her. Misty is right a fence is a fabulous idea, once you are in a position to build one. We have one at our new house and I truly don't miss chasing the run away dog.
