The Mosquito Truck Story

Back when I was growing up in Florida there were mosquito trucks, similar to the one pictured here, that would go up and down the neighborhood streets spraying insecticide to help control the mosquito population.

You can see the fog of insecticide, right? Good. That's crucial to this story.

For some odd reason I used to think it was fun to chase these trucks up and down the streets. In the fog. Now.. running could be a good way to help quick weight loss attempts. But not in the fog of a mosquito truck.. Doh-dee-doh.

(Yes, I went into my archives to rewrite this post. Shame on me.)

Oh MY ... I used to run behind the mosquito trucks too!!! Why did my parents let me? What were they thinking (or not)...

I can't even imagine letting my girls do it... and yes, we still have mosquito trucks in my neighborhood....
