Hitting The Road

In my last post which was pretty boring I said we hadn't done anything despite Mr. Skittles being on vacation. No sooner did I hit publish on that post did he come up and say he wanted to go to a hobby store tomorrow. He asked if I wanted to go with him of course. Sometimes I CAN go. More often not.. but I always appreciate being asked.

Then I found out the hobby store he wants to go to isn't local. It's in Tecumseh which is 40 - 50 miles from us. That turns it into a ROAD TRIP! Yeehaw! For some odd reason road trips are different for me and ARE something I can do most times.

I like online auction places like Ebay and I LOVE browsing through antique stores so maybe we can find one or two over there to wander through. Maybe grab a quick lunch before coming home.

Note: I normally ride my exercise bike 25 minutes a day but will add an extra minute for each comment I get on this post. One comment per person, please =)

Road trips are probably easy/easier for you because there's a good chance you won't run into anyone you know, or will see again. There's safety in anonymity.

The reason I want to go to this particular hobby shop is that it's supposed to be the largest in the area. Plus, a friend at work who knows I'm into hobbies suggested it. Not to mention it would be a nice road trip :)

I love going to DIY stores. Not sure what a hobby store sells.
Hope you've had a great day out ;-)
