Some people may wonder why I deleted a somewhat successful blog and started over from scratch. Part of the reason is personal, but I had been having other issues with my blog long before that. (I said that wrong. I meant the way I was viewing that blog, and its importance to me and my life, was all screwy.)
I was so lost the first days after it was gone. It had been my morning routine every day for a year and a half to check my email for new comments, check the blog's sidebar to see who had been there, how many hits I had, then of course go blog hopping. Even though I suspected when I deleted the other one that I would come back to blogging, I didn't know it would be so soon.
I wondered what it would be like, how it would be different, to have a blog without all the bells and whistles? Limit the widgets and inclusion to places? To not care so much about hits and page rank? I decided to find out.
That's why this new blog is my experiment.
