The Week Ahead

Hubby is on vacation this week. Okay, it's more like a lay-off, but we're not going to nitpick over what it's called, because he's home. Yippee!

Any other time we'd be throwing packed clothes, the dog and a cooler in the car and heading out for parts unknown. Maybe even check into Pigeon Forge cabin rentals because we both love the mountains. There's a few bloggers we'd like to go meet as well.

Unfortunately after balancing the checkbook we discovered it might be better to stay closer to home. (I'm already making up a lengthy Honey-Do list in my head. *Grin*)

We might drive over and visit my kids again. My daughter was discharged from the hospital last week and it would be nice to sit and talk to her without someone peeking in every few minutes.

Do you have any special plans for this week?

Taxes, ugh! I hate having to admit to hubby that I've misplaced all the important stuff. It's a long weeklong event.

I'm so sorry about your hubby's job...I'll be praying for an answer quickly.

I hope you manage to make the most of it.

Oh no, I'm so very sorry to hear about your hubby's job. I hope things look up VERY quickly! Sheesh, and I'd just read about how many years he's put into that company on his blog a few weeks ago. Anyways, I hope you enjoy some time together and get to go see your daughter! I'm glad she's back at home :)

As you probably know MWM is home all the time as he's retired but I am in my second week of the Easter vacation now and intend to relax! Last week we were hanging wallpaper and painting, today I cleaned the house from top to bottom so I think I deserve a rest now don't you?

Good to hear your daughter is home, I hope she's well. x

I love Pigeon Forge! I am about 3 hours away-woohoo! I am on Spring Break-but we aren't going anywhere either! My bf wanted to go somewhere but I didn't want to leave our sick dog. Then my bf's employee quit-so he can't leave anyway-hehe. I am catching up on house work, school work, and TAXES-aaahhhhh!

Have I told you that I have something for you at my place? If not, check it out here: Yummy Award

That sounds nice, of course I just spent a week and a half in the mountains :-) it was very peaceful!

Congrats on your daughter's health!! That sounds pretty exciting having her be able to go home.

Note:

Hubby gets 95% of his pay while on lay-off. :)

Enjoy. My mom just spent two weeks with me - it was great. We also went away.
This week I am still on holiday so I will be spending some quality time with my daughter and myself.

I'll be on my much needed vacation. I fly out the day after tomorrow. :)

Hopefully you do get to visit your daughter and have a nice visit with her and the new baby.

I'm on spring break (hooray). So far and friend and I have gone to Ikea (they just built one in Ohio!) and ventured to some other places. Today I will most likely clean my house...I may catch a ball game this week too. Have fun during your week with hubby.
