Lexapro

My insurance approved my prescription for Lexapro and I started it today. Actually, my doctor had given me samples at my last visit so today I'm starting a new higher dose.

Starting a new med always involves some adjustment time. I had just barely gotten used to the dose from the samples and that wasn't pretty. I've been walking around in a must get more sleep, feeling like a zombie mode for about a week. Now the dose is doubled.

Luckily hubby understands what I go through with this and usually helps take up the slack.

I'm by no means making light of people with acne problems but sometimes I wish the only thing I had to concern myself with was acne treatment.

I know the feeling have had the same issues when they adjust my clonazepam or Effexor. My mom uses Lexapro though and it has been a great help for her, once she got through the adjustment period. Remember to allow for the 4-6 weeks time, unless something major presents itself as a side effect.
Hugs and good luck.

I take lexapro~have been for a year and a half! I am powered by lexapro and backed up by xanax-lol! I have been panic attack free for a year and a half. I also take trazadone at night to help me sleep-it is the real trick for my attacks-if I don't forget to take it.
