BOTH! They all live close to me....all 7 of them...and I am really close to all of them. I have to admit though, sometimes I have wished I was an only child. LOL

My brother, his wife and their three kids live 2 hours way from me. But distance does not keep us apart emotionally :)

C-none of the above

Hmmm... both. Considering the fact my Mom drives past my work everyday on her way to work. If she doesn't see my car you bet she calls me to find out where I am. :-0

Most of my family is in Mexico, California, Nevada or Alaska and I don't see them very much at all. For some of them (very few) I'm more emotionally closer. My parents live 30 minutes from me. That isn't nearly far enough at all. Not even close.

Older daughter lives about 45 miles from me; son lives about 3/4 of a mile away and younger daughter -well, she and her family and I live together in my old house here. So, physically speaking, we do live fairly close together. Emotionally though, my kids and I are very close and they are very close to each other too -emotionally speaking -keep in fairly frequent contact back and forth as my son is a long-haul trucker, on the road 5-6 days out of the week so, in a manner of speaking, he is actually the one who flits around a good bit on the physical closeness but always is back "home" for a day or 2 each week.
