When I was off work for my shoulder, I spent a lot of time on the computer, then I realized things weren't getting done because of it...I told myself to step away from the computer.....my hubby belongs to this computer forum and he spends hours upon ons on his computer...it's rather sad I find...

People actually spend time away from their computers?

If you count sleeping, away from it. If you only count waking hours, probably too much time in front of the computer.

Oddly enough...away. That'll probably change once I get high-speed, though. Especially if I give in to one bloggie friends' repeated suggestions that I join her in WoW... ;)

I'm away more then I am on but it isn't easy.
If I didn't limit my self I would live here and get nothing done.

Coffee is always on over at my blog.

Since my laptop died I spend more time online (blogs, email, twitter) through my cell phone. I really love my phone!

Apparently Curmudgeon and I operate on the same wave length. What, exactly, constitutes being "away" from the computer anyway? Most anywhere I sit, or walk, around in my house, the computer screen is there, usually up and running, just waiting for the fingertips to touch, ever so gently and lovingly, to the keyboard.

I spend all day on a computer when I'm at work and a couple of hours on my laptop at night, but nighttime is blogging and that's fun!

my two jobs are almost entirely on the computer. I am on 10-12 hours a day. I have a min here and there between things sometimes to pop in or start a post . . .

At a computer if you don't count sleeping or watching telly (I am a telly addict).

Definitely - without a doubt - AT the computer... all day at my day job and then all night until I fall asleep, and starting next month - when I'm 'at college' too.
