Heads Or Tails #66 - Share An Autumn Memory

You can play this at Heads Or Tails!

*****************

Autumn is my favorite season of the year. The cooler days and nights. Camping. Going for walks. I used to love jumping in piles of leaves as a child, amongst other things.

But that's not what I'm going to talk about.

In my three (holy cow, THREE?) years of blogging I have met many people and have made some friends. One of the most special friends has the blog Random Autumness .. well.. because her name is Autumn!

She and I seem to connect in so many ways. We're both a little "quirky" at times and have each known our share of life's ups and downs. We took our friendship from blogging to MSN Messenger (for a while.. until I stopped going there). We progressed to LONG phone calls.

This past April when me and hubby went out west to see the Rocky Mountains we had hoped to stop by and meet her in person. Unfortunately we weren't able to connect that time.. but there will be other chances someday I'm sure.

Autumn, this video is for you:

I hope you get to meet your friend in person. :)

I like Autumn, but I think spring is my favorite. I grew up in Alaska where the winter seems like total darkness and bitter cold. Even though I liked to go cross country skiing it felt like I was shut in the house all winter, so the Spring warms and wakes me up and make me feel alive again.

This video is from after my time, I'm afraid. At least I didn't recognize it.

I like the new "Autumn in the Midwest" picture at the top of the page. That is what you were going for, right?

I love how the internet connects people that may have never connected otherwise. I hope you two get to meet in person someday. :-)

I had wondered about the name of the blog when I have visited but never got far enough to realize that was her name. Such a lovely one too.

I have made some great friends via the internet too

I'm so glad you and Autumn have met online and become such good friends. I think it's just the neatest thing to meet someone online and become good friends. That kind of friendship is the best because you are friends because of your heart and not what you have and don't have and not because of what you look like.

Funny you should mention making a list in your comment on my blog today as I have done just that for today. Already I've checked off three out of the five most important things I need to do for today. Posting on my blog was one of those five. Thanks for your input.
