I just got this email from my son --Have you ever heard of the book "Pigs All Around"?
Me either, until today. It's not a great book. It's rather short, and boring. The pictures inside aren't even in color, just black and white.
So why am I telling about it? Because today it became the first book Andy has read all by himself!! We are so proud of him!!!
Andy just turned five last November. Grandma and Grandpa are so very proud of him!!!

But...
why, oh why, did his first book have to be about Pigs being all around??? I'm gonna have nightmares now. hehe

My granddaughter is just learning to read too and it's more amazing to me than it is to her!!!
