Heads Or Tails #83 - Common

You can play this at Heads Or Tails.

*****************
I recently discovered my chocolate Lab puppy has something in common with other Labs. She likes water.

A week ago I walked her near the pond behind my apartment building where there is a small pond. She jumped right in. Of course she was being a lot more playful before I got my camera than she was in this video..

By the way, that isn't a muzzle she's wearing. It's a thingy to help her leash train. She can still eat, drink, bark, drag reeds out of water, etc.

Now that the weather turned chilly again, I can't take her for a return visit. (I wonder if I got her a couple discount Kohler sinks if she would swim in them?)

Since you're already here, why don't you drop down two posts and read about my uncommonly smart five year old grandson? (Smile.)

"Hey? You didn't happened to see LaFores out there"?

....good, there for a minute I thought we were in trouble....

FUEGO!!!!

Okay...done.

LOL

Hannah!!! First love the name, it's so darling for a Lab. Yep, they DO love the water, and water sports too. I remember our brother's used to retrieve ducks when hunting.

Dogs + water usually mean a lot of fun - and a drenching :-)

Labs are funny that way. My granddaughter has one that jumps off the deck railing into a large water bowl. Amazing. My grandson just got a lab/great dane mix. I worry.

LOL-Seven must be uncommon, then. When we took her to Poudre River, she wouldn't go more than a couple of paws in. Poor Hubby doesn't know what to make of her! :)

I expect you will get some uncalled for showers when she shakes all over you.

If I've told you once, I've told you a million times - my god-doggy is so responsible and thoughtful... she's doing her part to keep the local pond free of sticks and weeds.

Good girl, Banana - your god-mommy luvs you!

I'm betting my Pepeu and your Hannah would get along great. He once spent 5 hours cleaning the community park pond of reeds & weeds. They can be so industrious when they play.
