Let Them Be Little

Four of my five grandchildren yesterday..

There's no way I can look at that picture and listen to this song, and not cry.

Or for that matter, this picture. My own kids.

Awwwwwww your grandkids are so precious!
Gosh it's the first time I've heard that song. What a tear jerker. Whew. :)

I love the older pics...but man are your grandkids cute...I am mad at my oldest...she has issues, and at the moment is punishing me by not letting me see my own grand kids...I havent seen my grand daughter more then three times since birth. I am furious about it.

and your right...that video made me cry too...LOL!

Tookie: The song came out in the early 90's I think. I agree. It's a tearjerker.

Robyn: UGH about your daughter. Watch your email.

Hi love,
thanks for sending me a reminder to watch this.
I'm blaming the tears on the time of the month ;-)
Your (grand)kids are beautiful.
And Billy Dean is cute too ;-)

I can't watch the video, because I'm at work right now... but I know that song, and have always LOVED that song.

Both those photos are absolutely special and beautiful!!!

It's neat comparing the two photos and seeing how much the grandkids resemble their mom/dad/aunt/uncle. Did that make sense?

Spamming is unwanted comments... LOL yours are always welcome. Wonderful song. I think I see resemblance in a grandson and a son...

Great pics, Barb and a beautiful song. So darned true too. They are only little for such a short period of time. No time like the present to enjoy them whilst we can. Hope you're feeling better, Kiddo!
Peace.

Misty: Psshhh.. You always make sense to me. And sometimes that scares me.

Grace: If you see what I think you see, then it's not the same kid matched with the right parent. I saw it too.

Jeni: I know. I can still "feel" holding my own kids as babies. *Sniffle*

Such a sweet post!!!

Unfortunately for me, I don't need to be reminded to let them be little, rather I need some serious self-help in letting them grow up! LOL

I wish my little ones could stay little forever...I cherish each and every moment that I get to spend with my 2 precious miracles (1 in vitro baby and 1 bonus baby!).

Blessings to you from Kansas this Easter Monday,
Valerie

Oh, because I needed to cry anymore today. That's a great song, Barb, and I love the photos of your family. There are definite resemblances there.

Valerie: They can be old and still need to grow up. ;)

Tricia: People keep crying. Hmm.. Oh yeah. I did, too.

Smalltown: Funny thing is, they got older and I didn't. Hehehe.

Frank: It would make you cry so maybe it's good you didn't watch it.

Tammy: It seems to be contagious.

Just the other night, as we were exhaling, finally, after Easter weekend, my wife said, "Our kids aren't little any more."

Since three of them are over 20, I suppose it's about time we accepted that....

But it sure was just a little while ago... wasn't it?
