My puppy has had some issues since we got her. At seven months old now she seems to be mellowing out. We no longer have to put her in her crate at night. She has free run of the house every day, all day. For most days and nights this has been good for her and good for us as well.
However!!!!
I woke up this morning and saw this. Not the blanket. That's what she sleeps on. It was the poofy stuff all over the floor. There's more not shown in this picture. A LOT more.
It didn't take me too long to figure out WHERE it came from. She pulled all the stuffing out of one of her toys. Apparently ate the squeaker inside, too.

My girls like to do that also! They gut their stuffies and leave it all over the house.
I played too HERE
Oh dear I hope she doesn't have trouble passing that squeaker!
I guess she doesn't get to play with that toy any more! Silly girl.
Puppies certainly like to chew things don't they. Mine even chewed my glass once.
I hope she is ok with that squeaker in her tummy.

Pets can be so much like children...messy but also fun. :-) Thanks for giving me the idea last week about what I could do this week. Stop by and see how my office is looking.
I'm not a pet person, but hope the squeaker passes without harming her.
Reading Berni's comment just made me laugh hardy....this is the first thing I thought of...Poor thing...but still funny picturing passing a squeaker! Sorry.
My "where" is posted also. Come on over if you can find time. Happy Tuesday. Thanks for hosting.
Ohhhh you see - it's totally not her fault. She's a puppy, and she can't help it. That's what I was told for two years while Maggie ate everything we owned. Just be glad it was one of her toys and not your end table!
Just a note: She didn't swallow the squeaker. I meant she chewed it up. :)
We cannot give our dogs any toys with squeakers. They rip them to smithereens and would swallow the squeaker too. Silly dogs!
Stuffed toys are considered miracle toys if they last more than 2 days in our house.
Oh, this is funny. I don't know about the squeaker part, though. Can you hear her when you hug? :)
It's funnier to think of her with the squeaker inside! But chewing up her bed is funny too. Puppies are a lot like toddlers, aren't they?
