I Think I Can

My journey to better health has begun. This is the third day so it's still in its infancy and I don't expect immediate results. It took me 53 years to get where I am, after all. I feel like this is the time though. This is the time I will succeed.

I know this for these reasons:

1. I have the support of a LOT of people.
   
2. I'm going to be using Sensa as soon as it arrives and I saw how well it worked for Tammy from Mom Knows Everything.
3. I joined a site called FitDay. I can track what I eat, my weight, my goals and keep a private journal. Free.
4. I'm not going to think of myself as a failure if I do some backsliding here and there.
   
5. I know WHY I'm doing this this time. I recently wrote a post about my new realizations about my weight and the trouble I'm having because of it.

It doesn't take a bunch of people with philadelphia inquirer jobs to see that I'm at least on the right track.

I think I can.

I fear jinxing myself. I FEAR failure. (Just like everyone else does, I suppose.)

I think I can.

I will do this one day at a time. One meal at a time. I will remember my goal. I will remember the things I have already said here.
