A couple days ago I called the automated line of my pharmacy to get a refill on one of my psyche meds. I was informed the prescription isn't going to be ready for refill until the 30th. I thought wtf.I did the next logical thing and checked the bottle. OOPS. It says take one twice a day. I've been taking one three times a day.
Since I'm so close to being out, I'm breaking the ones I have left in half. Taking 1/2 twice a day. (When I've been taking one whole one three times a day.) Taking 1/2 will get me to Tuesday night if my figuring is right. Then I'm out until Saturday.
The good news is that next time I see the psychiatrist I can tell him how well I was doing on the higher dose. Sheesh.

If it wasn't that worrying, it would be hilarious. Wait, it still is hilarious. Are your trifocals ready yet?
Perhaps you will discover you can do well on a very low dose too. Or on no dose at all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck.
What about taking 1 and a half till they're out, or will you run out? I've done that before with an antibiotic I was supposed to take once a day which I took twice a day instead. I hope it works out. Take care.
I've decided to take two a day and call the doc Monday to get an early appointment. I know what happens to me when my meds get out of whack.
