This isn't something pleasant to talk about.. but that's never stopped me from posting about things in the past. I have gum disease. I've been going to the dentist for cleaning, but it didn't accomplish what was desired so now I have another procedure lined up.I'm going to have my gums rolled back (as she put it) for better plaque removal. I will get some numbing shots and my gums will be rolled back. Scraping will occur then my gums will be rolled back up and a few stitches will be placed here and there. She will do one side, wait a month, then do the other.
I wish this sounded as easy as applying acne scar cream but it doesn't. Nope. Not at all.
I don't have the appointment set yet because she has to confer with my primary physician over one of the meds I'm taking. Soon though. I'll let you know so you can all cringe and feel sorry for me when the time comes.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!!! You know how much I dislike the dentist. Oh man, I'm feeling for you... I really, really am! (((HUGS)))
that sounds so painful...I hate the dentist...ever since I was little...but one of my scariest was when the dentist dropped the drill in my mouth and I had to get 8 stitches on my tongue....Ouch....

no body wants to go to dentist. But sometimes it becomes a necessity.
