I had something happen last week that upset me. Looking back now I can see that it really wasn't that big of a deal, but I tend to get caught up in things and how I feel about them. Anyway, I was upset.
By Friday afternoon me and Mr. Skittles decided it wasn't doing me any good just sitting around staring at the ceiling lights and THINKING so much. THINKING can tend to over dramatize things for me. (Maybe it does for you, too. Blogging has taught me that we all have a lot more in common than I used to think.)
Once we'd decided a course of action.. going on a road trip.. it didn't take long to throw a change of clothes in a duffel bag, pick a direction to drive (south) and take off. The point being to get away from the computing/blogging/Facebook world for a few days.
