Soft Floors

My feet were aching after walking through the hobby store and Kmart the other day. I thought maybe it was from the hot pavement in the parking lots. Ok and maybe the extra walking.

I do walk quite a bit in my home just for the record so blaming it on the pavement seemed somewhat a logical deduction. Then it hit me. Because as I've mentioned before I'm an over thinker.

I'm not used to walking on hard floors. I'm used to walking on carpeted floors. *sigh* Just another downside to being practically housebound I suppose. My feet are spoiled by soft floors.

This was a stupid post but it felt good to write one without adding any links for a change..

Note: I normally ride my exercise bike 25 minutes a day but will add an extra minute for each comment I get on this post. One comment per person, please =)

My feet ache from standing on hard floors too! Guess I'm spoiled too.

My feet really hurt when I walk on concrete.

What a great idea! Very inventive incentive, LOL.

Here's another minute to add to your routine, but I hope it doesn't mean that you're gonna eat more later because of it. :P

Go Barb!

(Try running around a hospital parking lot on shoes that don't even remotely resemble running shoes. My shins were aching the rest of the week. And my feet too.)

This was NOT a stupid post.

My old barber used to have a large rubber mat around the barber chair to ease his having to stand all day. My new barber has nothing of the sort, but wears cushion-sole shoes instead.

Maybe you should buy yourself some cushion-sole shoes for your next trip to K-Mart....

I totally 'get' the hard floor thing. Shopping of any kind has become a real trial for me. After an hour on those concrete floors I start to have pains from plantar fasciitis and a neuroma, and cramps and spasms in my feet. I'm such a wuss. It's so much easier to avoid the stores and stay home. rofl
