Tomatoes

In May, I planted one slice of a red tomato. I've grown tomatoes before, but little did I know this one was going to get so tall!

Have you ever bought tomatoes on the vine? That's what the slice I planted was. You know in the movie Jaws how the guy says, We're going to need a bigger boat" right? In this case I guess I should have used a bigger pot!

I was pleased when I first saw flowering buds. I got excited when I saw the first five baby tomatoes growing. Now I have a second set of babies and quite a few more flowering buds!
