I am a work in progress. (Aren't we all?) At no time in my life have I ever thought to myself that this is as good as I want things to be. This is as much as I ever want to know. This is as much as I ever want to accomplish.
One thing I have constantly struggled with is my weight. I've not tried very many fad diets because I know how to eat right. I know what is good for me (tastes like cardboard) and what isn't (pizza, chips, etc.). It's too bad that the things I crave aren't the best things for me!
One thing I have tried is the pill Alli. I even posted about starting it on my old blog. These aren't like the other weight loss pills on the market because they actually do help remove the fat from the foods you eat and pass it out of your system.
Of course I DO have to remember to take one with every meal. Maybe another change I should make is to leave myself reminder notes.
What are some changes YOU need to make?
I need to move. I sit on my rear way too much.
I need to hire a maid. (Notice I didn't say that I need to clean. hee hee)
I need to give myself a kick in the rear now & then to make sure I do stuff I need to do.
Other than that, I'm pretty content with who I am. :) (Rolls & all.)
What I need to do is similar to yours, but just the other way around. I need to gain weight. You knew that I had already lost way too much weight since the move, well, now that I've been sick - it's disgusting... I don't know what to do - my clothes don't fit and I look horrible.
I need to make my family more of a priority over my job. That is a big one for me right now...work seems to have taken over.
gosh I don't think there is enough room here.....read more, worry less, keep to my budget,be happy, take my pills, sit up straight(posture is so important),drink more water, get on with my studies....I think i will quit here....
I'm working on the weight thing too. I've lost 21 pounds in 16 weeks. Slow and steady. I find keeping a blog just for that helps. (it's private, but if you're interested, I'll email you an invite) I also need to work on being more outgoing, and not so shy.
I started a blog 4 Day Win - my attempt at losing weight. I feel like I keep hovering over the same 5kg and then at the end of the year I actually heavier instead of lighter.
I need to...
1. Be more organized
2. Make a schedule and stick to it
3. Be more active
4. Eat better
Hopefully this year I manage to accomplish some of these things.
I need drink more water and less soda. I need to drink more red wine and less Pale Ale. I need to get really good at remembering to wash my face before bed. I need to learn more, a lot lot lot more.
Like you I need to lose weight :(
I started Alli and was doing well and then I stopped. Why did I stop? Anyway. I need to work on my weightloss as well.
I too need to lose lots of weight, but I won't take any sort of pill to do it. My sister in law was taking that Alli for a couple months and she had to go to the hospital last week Saturday as she was doubled over in pain and could hardly breathe. The doctor thought it could've been the Alli. Apparently the stuff can give you diarrhea, and if you eat something really fattening, it warns you by causing painful issues??? I really don't know, but she decided to stop taking it. I hope you find the cause of your pain really soon. Take care,
