Heads Or Tails #42 - Flower

You can play this at Heads Or Tails!

*****************************************
It's been my habit to include a video every week that relates to the theme. This week my post IS a video.

This song reminds me of growing up, but it also reminds me of good times when my kids were growing up. I liked to share music from my generation with them and this song was one we all liked to sing along with.

I dedicate this post to Oldest Son, Younger Son & Daughter and the days of
Penny a Pear, Hide & Seek in the station wagon, Pass The Tigger.. and of course Suzi.

(Warning! If you know this song, it will get stuck in your head the rest of the day.)

I remember that song! You always do such a good take on the themes. I just posted pictures of some flowers in my flower bed. I need to start thinking outside the box.

*singing*
Why do you build me up -Build me up
Buttercup baby just to
let me down - Let me down
And mess me around
And then worst of all - Worst of all
You never call baby
When you say you will - Say you will
But I love you still
I need you - I need you
More than anyone darlin'
You know that I have from the start

Yes, it will be stuck in my head for the rest of the night... and the following day =)

I've had it stuck in my head after watching the movie "There's Something About Mary" for about a week or so *g*

Great choice, b.t.w. =)
Mine will be up in about one hour!

Happy Tuesday, oh HoT hostess!

It is better than "Going to the chapel baby, gonna get married." That is what has been in my head.

I hadn't heard that song in ages. Songs do bring back memories, don't they?

But thank you for it. That made my day. I don't feel really well. Not much to be happy at the moment.

Yep, the song will now be totally stuck in my head, and when I call people buttercup (because I do that sometimes - usually just my man, but, whatever), I might have a song in my voice :)

I'd forgotten all about that song - and yes, now it's stuck in my head :). Oh well, it could have been worse - you could have posted something by Britney Spears. Happy Tuesday!

How fun … and my computer even cooperated this afternoon … letting me listen to this classic, Buttercup, while I composed my comment. When I get a new computer, videos won't pose such a problem ;--)

Thanks for stopping by while I was gone today. It’s kewl to come home to find visitors have dropped by.
Hugs and blessings,

Aww, the video is no longer available. I love that song though...

A long time ago I had an mp3 of AI's Clay Aiken performing it...was really good-and I didn't even like Clay.

BTW, I haven't been getting email notifications about the weekly themes...and when I do, they are several weeks late. Does anyone else have that problem? One of the reasons I've not participated for awhile (plus time issues).

Darn it! For some reason I haven't been able to listen to anything from YouTube for the past couple weeks :(

I can't watch the video at work (shhh!) but I know the song - and love it! :)

My husband is the one that shares his musical taste from his youth with our son. He and Ashleigh spends hours listening to and discussing each others' taste. Buttercup is one of Eric's favourites, and now it's stuck in my mind too.
