I first took the screen name Skittles when I was on IRC (internet relay chat). I used it when I joined Pogo Games. When I started blogging, it seemed natural to continue its use. It's almost time to renew my domain name for my blog and I've been thinking about changing it to something else.
I was talking about this with my hubby this morning. (He took a vacation day today.) I told him I don't feel like I'm a Skittles now. That I feel removed from that nickname. It's not who I am anymore.
He asked, "Who are you then?"
That simple question made me stop and think. Who AM I? I'm not sure I know the answer to that question. But I need to make a decision soon about the name and URL of my blog.
Any ideas, suggestions?

I couldn't think of you as anything else other then skittles either...that would be hard.....
My internet handle has been Elijahssong for so long, that i would feel bizarre changing it...I think it has been 11 years...

Well, I was able to switch from being "DearestPrincess" to "SilverNeurotic" without too many problems....

I still say you should be a symbol!!! YEAH! A really COOL symbol... and make everyone refer to you as "The blogger formerly known as..."

It's past my bedtime and I am short on ideas at the moment, but I love that CSI song... I used to think it was written specifically for that show - love the show too!
I like Skittles... but if you're looking to change, it should be something meaningful to you.
