Ummm...a few weeks ago. Poor Hubby made me promise not to use my most dangerous credit card, but I was desperate for new (to me) books, a replacement bra for the ones Annie ate, groceries, gas & dog food. Oops.
Sheesh, I think I unwittingly do that a lot with Maya -tell her I'll do something but doing that something always relies on my faulty memory too, ya know. I try not to promise things to people outside the house because I know how forgetful I am and how unreliable my body can be as well. Eliminates a lot of potential problems by Not making those promises in the first place.
I would have to agree with Lucy...I can't honestly remember when I did....I guess I was guilty of it when my girls were little...promising them something I certainly knew I didn't have time to do, but said it just to appease them at the time...
hmmmmm... I've been trying to avoid making promises, just for this reason. With my hectic schedule, I don't want to promise to do something and then not get it done.

I can't remember. I don't make them very often and I can't actually remember the last time I promised something. That's because I never make one that I don't fully intend to keep. :)
