1 deskphone, 2 wall phones(one is also a cordless) plus another cordless. This entails t separate phone lines -mine and my daughters. We did that so people could occasionally reach us back when I was still using dial-up. Now that we have high speed via the tv cable, it's amazing how many people are not sure which number to call to reach me or Mandy (or the 17th year-old too -LOL) because they think they have to dial Mandy's number to get her, my number to get me, although we've explained that both lines come into this house and you may get any of us, or even my son, answering the phone here! Crazy people, ya know. And then too, Mandy does have a cell phone but it does not work for outgoing calls nor can you answer it here and converse because we live in the gully part of town and get virtually no signal. But she can receive messages and do texts here so all is not lost, the phone is not relegated solely to usage in the car or stuff like that.
i am too embarrassed to answer this question. I can't even count the number...it is really lazy of us okay...because its hot buttah's question I will embarrass myself and go count them.... 11 house phones plus 5 cells. how red am i? oh wait.. one up in my son's room.. 12
2 in the bedroom, 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the den, 1 in the office, 1 in my paint room,...that makes 6 and then 2 cell phones... I have thought about putting one in the bathroom...but....that's a bit much I think.

Just two...cell and wall phone. Daughter had a phone in her room, but battery died in it (cordless) and I haven't bought a replacement for it yet.
