Yesterday

Yesterday Mr. Skittles told my psychiatrist that we'd been together eight years. We met in 2000, so unless math has changed, I think it's been ten years. Perhaps he has blocked out the menopause years. I wouldn't blame him if he did.

My appointment went ok. I had a new psychiatrist and had to go over all my past mental health history and what's going on with me now. 'Now' was the hard part. I know my depression has been worsening. Anxiety has been going up. It's hard to explain the difference to someone who really doesn't have anything on which to base a comparison. He tweaked the dose of one med and left the others alone for now.

On the way home from the appointment we tossed around the idea of a friend of ours someday marrying the nice man she's just met. Would we go to the wedding? (Could I go to be exact. I don't know from one day to the next if I'll be able to go outside period.) We never got as far as discussing unique 1st anniversary gifts. I suppose we would if and when the time comes.

Note: I normally ride my exercise bike 25 minutes a day but will add an extra minute for each comment I get on this post. One comment per person, please =)
