This is our 3+ year old dog, Sasha. We're not sure how old for sure she is because we got her from an animal shelter.
Actually I got her for hubby for Father's Day one year. But, see, hubby wasn't hubby yet and he lived across the state and drove over every weekend. He couldn't keep her where he was staying.. so she lived with me. And I named her. So, yeah, she was for hubby for Father's Day, but I picked her out, named her and she lived with me until we got married a year later.
Sasha is a Border Collie mix. I think that's why Misty likes me so much. (Laugh.) We're not sure what she's mixed with but we're pretty sure it must be something stupid. She's sweet as can be though, travels well when we go on our luxury vacations (*cough cough*) and is very photogenic as you can see below.

I'm guessing she has lab in her ~ she is beautiful. Did you know DNA testing is now available to test to see which breeds are mixed up in a "heinz 57"?

Molly says ‘woof’ to Sasha … and definitely wants to PLAY!!! I think Sasha’s gorgeous and wish I could get Molly to pose for me like this. I could use some ‘gopher’ advice if you (or others) have any … but the main event in my Camera Critters this week is Molly meeting a ‘look-alike’ last weekend … named Molly!

She looks so much like our dog Mukiwa! I just can't get over it. This picture looks more like her than most. Of course, I think Sasha is one of the most beautiful dogs I've ever seen!
